What are all the ways women convey power? How does culture view women's beauty and power?

My art explores the different ways women show their power through beauty. Art commenting on power and beauty within women is not before new ideas; however, I find it important to place an emphasis on the vast diversity of how each woman is able to express their power differently. In my art I use a lot of imagery of jellyfish, how jellyfish have this sense of elegance and there spineless and often see-through, but they are also strong, can sting and work in groups. This idea also goes along with my frequent use of vines in my art, how vines are elegant but can also over power buildings as they grow very fast. How these two go along with womanhood how women are often overlooked as weak but they have this extreme power. In my first piece I used pillows to represent how often women are viewed as pillow, which can be seen as weakness but but sewing a throw and a bed pillow and painting on top of them I wanted to show the power of being in tune with ones emotions, having the ability to have pillow talk and be vulnerable but link that with having power and strength within oneself.
